Warmane is not highly regarded here at all. All but one of the realms is completely P2W, and the PvP is cross-realm so you'll be at a huge disadvantage anyways. Classic WotLK should be out within the next year or so, would be better to wait for that instead. Chromie is good, but it's vanilla WoW in the WotLK client. I’ll echo these sentiments. Part of the appeal of playing WoW is the -world- aspect. Role-playing servers like Moon Guard (and the efforts of their role players) generally add immersion in a very fascinating way.RP servers are best, however recently there has been a bigger market for the rare mount farms (people wait for mount to spawn and then sell access to the shard its on for hundreds of thousands of gold), so you might end up getting competition wherever you go. So for example your realm might follow Central time zone but the datacenter the realm belongs to could be in LA. I found this information on wow wiki. They had a list on thier website as well but they included that it might not be up to date. Not a New York data center. Server time and data center location dont correlate.. First of all, find a community or join a guild that makes world PvP activities / organized action. When you are farming Korthia, around world bosses (the world quests ones giving 500 anima) or the assaults, try to group. In custom groups you will probably find something “25 kills Korthia WM on” or “Korthi rare farming WM on”.Also some of these sites do not factor in low level toons or they only calculate levels 10+. Like take Moon Guard, one of the largest Alliance RP realms however almost a good portion of the population is stuck in Goldshire not really contributing to the realm. That inflates the numbers. Grobbulus is a very good server. Nice balance with good RP, PVP, and PVE guilds. If interested, join horde and look for Wolves and Ravens guild (awesome people that help newcomers level). What I'd do is travel back in time and find one in 2006 for that best wow tbc experience. I would recommend Pyrewood Village (EU), really nice PVE server and lots of people doing low level content. Never an issue to find groups for quests or dungeons. Go US Heartseeker. If you care about joining a guild, check wowprogress.com it has a list of realm populations for characters that do Max level PvE content. Stormrage is good for alliance.
